Hello and welcome to my very first Tablescape Tuesday....I came across this here...http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/.....what a wonderful inspirational idea....along with all the other beautiful blogs with wonderful houses and tables. Anyway hope you enjoy my table setting. The table is set with Villeroy & Boch white porcelain china in Wave Design....I wasn't quite sure when I first purchased this dinner service as to rectangular plates...but they are wonderful to use....everything interchanges with each other....the small plates underneath the soup bowls are used with the coffee cups (not shown)....the side plates used as dessert plates as well.

My cutlery has a pitted bark effect on it. The so pretty etched wine glasses come from one of my very very favourite shops Laura Ashley. On the left is a cruet set which I purchased in a local collectables shop.
Just love this cutesy sleigh....it comes from TK Maxx....this shop fascinates me you never know what you are going to find from visit to visit. The other day popped in there and they had Spode Woodland coffee mugs eeekkk!!....I would have purchased them but there was nothing else to go with them...oh well.Anyway back to here....put lots of lovely apple/cone thingys to make everything festive and pretty.

Things look so beautiful. I love your rooster platter in the other post.I collect roosters and have never seen anything like that here.
As for you mum that is hard I know. That is what I do is work with elderly. I have many Alzheimer clients.It is a very sad disease. I know I have watched many of my clients change.It takes a very special person to do what you do.

Ohhh! Those plates are wonderful! I love the wavy shape! When I opened your blog, I had to say aaawwww! Is that your doggie? I am a cat person, but if I ever got a dog, it would be a Cavalier King Charles...more like children than dogs!...Debbie

Your Villeroy and Boch china is soooo amazing to see...love the shape! The top view is soooo neat...you can really see your stunning table from that view. The greenery is soooo pretty and the crystal is lovely, too! Thanks for sharing this beautiful table! :-) Susan

I think your centerpiece is absolutely stunning. The overhead view is quite amazing.
I don't think I've ever seen any more unusual china. Every piece is wonderful down to the soup bowl and the small dish the napkin is presented on. Your napkin rings are very special.
